When you're an Addams...

...you got to have a lot of passion!
Yes. That is what I had. A lot of passion. I had already told you that I was working on the school musical "The Addams Family". The performanses where really cool and beautiful even when the last week befor the show went totally creazy and you could practicly feel the tension between us all. I had so much fun with this kids and they made my year so much better. They are my family. I love them all very much. My heart breaks when I think of leaving in 40 days. It's Happy/Sad. The shows where really nice we had a lot of fun. I'm gone put some pictures from the rehouseals and the show nights. 
 

40 Days left

Ich hatte letzte woche meine letzte Theater Aufführung. Wir hatten 3 Musical -Shows es war echt toll und totall aufregent. Wir hatten zwar sehr viel spaß aber besonders die letzte woche bevor der Show abend war sehr stress voll. es war hart aber es hat sich gelont. Diese Produktion hat mir wiedereinmal gezeigt das Theater mich glücklich macht. Aber es ist nicht nur das Schauspielen es sind vorallem die Leute hier die für mich wie einer Familie sind. Ich werde sie sehr vermissen. Es sind wirklich gemische gefühle wen ich an den Flug in 40 Tagen denke.  Ich werde Fotos von den Proben und den Shows hochladen. 

 

 

PROM!!

Prom 

...Hey, so the last weeks were stress and fun! I had a lot of fun at Prom with Onur. It was really awesome! He picked me up and we drove to the park to take pictures. Then we met up with some other couples and we drove to Indy to eat at Harry and Izzys (that is a very good stake house) The food was really good. Aftr that we walked to the hotel were our prom was. I really had a lot of fun just dancing with my friend it was a unforgettable evaning. Later the officel Prom ended and Alexis and I had a little Bonfire in our back jard it was rally cool. This day ade me very happy. 
 
 
Hallo, vor 2 wochen war mein Prom! Ich hatte echt viel spaß. Onur hat mich abgeholt und wir sind in den Park gefahren um Fotos zu machen. Danch haben wir ein paar unsere Freunde getroffen und sind mit ihnen nach Indianopolis gefahren. Wir sind dannn in einem sehr guten stake House essen gegangen. Nach den Essen sind wir dann zum officellen Tanz gegangen. Wie ihr mich kennt hab ich fast keinen Tanz ausgesetzt und hatte sehr viel spaß. Es war etwas sehr schönes für mich. Nach den Tanz hatten Alexis und ich ein kleinen feuer im garten. Es war ein sehr netter Tag für mich.

Spring break

Hello,
 
it's the end of spring break and I have to say that I din't do so much. The time flys over here and I'm happy and sad about that. I miss a lot of stuff but I am sooo home and happy here that I am really sad that I will not come back for at leat 2 years. But I am so happy to come back home. These last two weeks were ver nice. I had some days to chill. The first three days we had work days for the musical. We got a lot of stuff done. I am sooooo exited about it. Yeahy. After that I had some days with Alexis. We surched for her Prom dress and finally found it. We also found our shoes. Than we had easter and it was very greate. I had a lot of fun with the egg hunt and the egg coloring. The rest of the days were very nice. We had much fun with the daycare kids. Friday was Moms Birthday and we pland a suprise for her. We went out to eat with William and we cleand and decorated the house. We also made cake for her. I am happy that the school is starting again.

Spring break

Hallo, 
 es ist der vorletzte Tag der Frühlingsferien hier und die Tage fligen nur so davon. Ich freue mich sehr alle wiederzusehen aber ich bin so traurig das ich von hier fort muss. Vorallem wen ich weiß das ich vorerst nicht mehr zurück kann. In den letzten zwei Wochen hatte ich etwas zeit zum ausspannen. Es war sehr schön. Die ersten 3 Tage war ich in der Schule denn wir haben an dem Bühnenbild des Musikals gearbeitet. In den restlichen Tagen war ich meistens mit Alexis unterwegs entweder um ihr Abschlussball Kleid zu finden oder unsere Schuhe zu kaufen. Wir waren auch unterwegs um eine Geburtstag überraschung für mein Gastmutter zu planen. Ostern war sehr schön. Ich hatte viel spaß beim Ostereier suchen und färben. Die restliche zeit habe ich mit den Tageskindern verbracht es war sehr toll.

Prom & the 3rd show

Hello. So some thing have happend in the last time. 
  • Tonight was the senior play and it was really wonderfull. I had such a great experiance with these guys and I'm soo happy for them. They are wonderful people and being a part of theater gives me a awesome feeling!
  • I have a prom date!! Yes I got asked to prom from one of my friends!! It was a totall sweet cake. I also have a prom dress. Yeay I really like it.
  • I have a part in the musical production. This is soo exiting. We start on Monday. Even if I have to give up some time of my springbreak... I'm having fun!!
  • Also there are only 98 days left until I leave in DC! I really have to say that I'm happy and sad about that.

News

Hey,

just some new things.. What happend in the last weeks:

  • ISSMA Solo & Ensamble District (That was a cool thing. I sang infront of judges and they gave me silver. What means that I was very good but I coulden't go to the State contest)
  • The Senior Theater production started and we all have a lot of fun working on the play
  • Today we had a work day for the show and it was very funny I aslo got baklava from Owner!! I was so happy about that (Owner is one of the seniors. He came to the USA as he was 6 from Turkey.)
  • Tomorrow are the auditions for the musical (I have to sing a song. I pick a german one from Elisabeth. I really hope they give me an acting part)
  • Everything is good over here... I'm suching for a prom dress in the moment..(even if I don't have a date jet I know how is gonne ask me)

hier ein paar neuchikeiten von den letzten wochen:
  • ISSMA Solo & Ensamble District (Das war ein Contest an dem ich teilgenommen habe. Ich musste ien classisches Opern lied vor einer Jury singen und die haben mir die Silber medalie gegeben!! Das heißt das ich gut war aber nicht genügent punkte habe um im State Final anzutreten.)
  • Die nächte Theater produktion hat angefangen und wir sind mitten drin. Es macht echt viel Spaß.
  • Heute war ein Arbeitstag es war echt sehr lustig. Owner hat Baklava für uns gemacht. Das war sehr nett.(Owner ist einer der Seniors er ist mit 6 aus der Türkei nach Amerika gezogen.)
  • Morgen sind die Musical auddition. (Ich bin sehr aufgeregt. Ich werde ein Lied aus dem musical Elisabeth singen. Ja auf deutsch! Mal gucken wie das ankommt.)
  • Alles läuft gut hier in Murica!! Ich kann nicht glauben das ich nur noch 15 Wochen habe... :(/:) Ich weiß garnicht wie ich mich fühlen soll.

...they just totaled 5 trucks because they had fun!

Hello. Everything is good on this side of the ocean. I had a lot of fun the last week. On the weekend of the 25th I had a Exchangestudent meeting in Indy. It was so much fun we met at noon in the hotel and had pizza then we answerd some questions. After that we just taked and had fun. It is amazing how wonderful they all are. At the next day we were working in a thrift-shop we had lunch in the Hard Rock Cafe. The whole weekend was awesome. And this weekend we went and saw the Monter Jam! It was thrilling. I mean I was scared at first as the first truck was on fire but after that it was really cool to see all the jumps!

Hallo. Es läuft alles super hier. Ich hatte viel spaß in den letzten 2 wochen. Am 25. hatte ich ein Exchangestudents treffen es war wunderbar alle exchangestudents zu treffen. Sie sind echt wunderbar. Ich habe auch einen aus meinem Austauschprogramm wieder gesehen. Fabian war da. Es war nett ihn wiederzusehen. Wir hatten sehr viel spaß. Wir haben in einem Secound-Hand shop geholfen und waren im Civil War Museum of Indianopolis. Dieses Wochenende waren wir beim Monster Jam! Das ist hier ein großes Monster Truck event. Es war etwas erschreckened für mich als der erste wagen angefangen hat zu brennen aber alles ist gut gegangen. Es war sehr aufregend für mich.

Midwinterplay!

Hello, 
this weekend was the show weekend of the crucible! The midwinter production of GCHS. I had so much fun. I mean YES I was totaly exousted and stressed out BUT in the end the show was incredible. This creazy people are my family here. I laugh and cry with them I yell at them and comfort them. I anoy them or make their day better. I look back at the half of my awesome year here. Those 155 wonderful days and I don't know how to leave this behnd me. I really don't know. I miss you at home but this here.. I don't know when and if I can come back to this and this thought is hurting me. Ach.. Ok but like I sad befor I got so emotional. I had very much fun this weekend and the show was so good that we have an extra performance on Thursday.
 So Let the curtain rise

dieses wochenende waren die Winter Shows der GCHS! Es war ein voller erfolg. "The Crucible" so heißt unser Stück kam super gut an. Ich hatte viel spaß und ein tolle erfahrung. Ach wen ich die letzte woch total getresst und müde war am ende war die Show "Eine der besten die wir in der je hier hatten" laut Mr. Jacobs unserem Theater lehrer. Diese verrückten Leute sind meine Familie hier. Ich lache und weine mit ihnen. Ich streite mit ihnen und tröste sie.  Ich gehe ihnen auf die Nerven oder mache sie glücklich. Ich schaue zurück auf die helfte meines jahres. Auf 155 Tage mit den verschiedensten gefühlen und ich schaue mich um und sehe all die Menschen die mir wichtig sind und ja ich vermisse euch in Deutschland. Ich sehe mich hier um und ich weiß nicht wie ich das hier zurücklassen kann. Ich weiß nicht wann oder ob ich zurück komme und das tut weh. Ach aber wie ich sagte befor ich so emotional wurde.. Ich hatte viel spaß dieses Wochenende. Die Show war sogar so gut das wir eien extra Vorstellung am Donnerstag haben.

It is 2016!!

 
It is 2016! It was a wonderful winterbreak for me. Christmas was a awesome family celebration. Even if I miss the german traditions VERY much. I was helping in the soup kitchen druing the break it was a very good experiance it made me very thoughtfull about the people in need. We had a new years eve party at out house it was very funny we played some games and watched a movie. Now I'm back in school and the first week is over. The days are long for me. Our next play with the drama-club is at the 15. january that means next frieday! That basically means Luisa was staying till 7:30 in school is there this weekend from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and next week untill 9:00 pm in school! Happy Day!(not) Jaaa but everything is alright. I have a lot of fun with my theater family there.

It is 2016!!

 
Es ist 2016. Es waren wunderbare Winterferien für mich. Weihnachten war ein tolles familien Fest auch wenn ich die deutschen Traditionen SEHR vermisse. Ich hab während der ferien in der Suppenküche geholfen. Das war eine gute erfahrung, ich werde da auch weiterhin helfen. Es hat mich sehr nachdenklich gemacht. Es gibt hier so viele menachen die hungrig sind. Wir hatten eine Silvester party in unserem Haus es war sehr witzig. Wir habn spiele gespielt und einen Film geguckt. So jetzt bin ich wieder in der Schule und es ist eine sehr stressige Zeit. Nächste Woche ist unsere zweite Theater show. Es ist The Crucible oder in Deutsch Die HExenjagt. Ich bin sehr aufgeregt. Aber weil wir nur noch eine Woche haben ist alles SEHR stressig. Letzte woche hatten wir Proben von 3:30 bis 7:30 und Ich bin das ganze Wochenede in der Schule Nächste Woche haben wir Proben von 3:30 bis 9:30... Ach ja aber ich hab sehr viel spaß mit den verrückten Haufen.

All I want for Chritsmas is snow...

Hey,
Yes. My time since thanksgiving was bussy but it is ok now it's winerbreak. I was really into the whole stressfull time becouse of the finals in school but hey it is ok now. Last weekend the choir had the wonderful madical dinner. It is a project from all choirs at my school where you have to serve food while you perform you songs. It is very cool it is in a medivial theme and we had a King and a Queen and it was awesome. <3 
I am changing 2 classes after the break it is my bio class and my choir. I'm going into the senior bio class and I;m changing into the madical choir (that is the best choir at our school) 
I'm soooo exidet for christmas know it's just soo cool here. I'm so happy with my family
The only thing that I need know is snow.

All I want for Chritsmas is snow...

ja, hier ist so weit alles gut. Ich war echt beschäftigt in den letzten Tagen. Aber jetzt ist auch der stress wegen den Semesterprüfungen weg. Es sind winterferien! whuu! Letztes Wochenende hatten wir in der schule das Madigaldinner. Das ist sehr schön. Es ist ein Projeckt von unseren schulchören. Es ist ein essen für leute die eintritt bezahelen und wäred dwir das essen sevieren singen wir die lieder. Es war echt eine tolle Erfahrung. Aber auch ganz schön anstrengend. Das ganze war im Mittelalter style also hatten wir alle Kostüme und wir hatten einen König und eine Königin.Nächtes Semester werde ich 2 klassen wechseln. Ich werde in die senior Bio classe gehen und in den Madical- show choir, mit dem wir bei den states meiterschaften antreten werden. (Da bin ich schon gespannt)

Ich bin jetzt sooo gespannt wie Weihnachten wird ich bin richtig aufgeregt. Ich freu ich drauf. Das einzige was wir jetzt hier brauchen ist Schnee.

Thanksgiving Break

Happy Thanksgiving

 
My Thanksginig break is almost over and  I have to say that I'm really sad that it is the last thanksgiving for me (I mean here with my hast family and so on...) I really had a lot of fun and  a lot good food. This time is another ting that America is an crazy country. On thursady you sit together with your family to be thankfull for everything and in the night after that on Black Frieday the people start fights about things like TV's. It was totally crazy. It was a awesome time. The Saturday we were by our Grade-grandmother and we ere helping to but up her christmas tree and we were eating a late Thanksgiving dinner. It was very funny. I'm sooo thankful to have this people around me.
 
 

Happy Thanksgiving

Mein Thanksgiving Wochenende ist fast ganz vorbei und ich bin traurig das es vorbei ist da es das letzte Thanksgiving für mich ist (zumindest im selben rahmen wie hier). I hatte echt viel Spaß und viel zu Essen. Dieser Feiertag zeigt aber auch das America ein verrücktes Land ist. Am Donnerstag sitzen alle zusammen und sind glücklich und dankbar für Freunde und Familie und die Nacht danach die Mensche fangen an über Fehrenseher zustreiten und zu rangeln. Es war total verrückt. Es war trozdem eine tolle zeit. Den Samsatg war ich bei meiner Uroma und wir haben geholfen ihren Weihnachtsbaum aufzustellen und hatten ein verspätetes Thanksgiving essen. Es war toll. Ich bin so dankbar für die leute die um mich herum sind. Ich habe sie ins Herz geschlossen.
